API – MonDak Chapter
API promotes fellowship and professional development of their members through thte exchange of operational experience, operations oriented meeting programs, and a variety of educational, industry service and community service projects. MonDak API is one of the more proactive associations in the country and is comprised largely of industry professionals who have lived in the area for a long period of time. API recognizes that pressures arise on infrastructure, traffic, population, housing and cost of living in a community. These oilfield professionals are coming to this community to unlock the area's natural resources and deliver them to the market. Supporting since 2012.
Three Affiliated Tribes
The Tribal Council approved a resolution and ordinance that enabled the tribe to exercise their inherent sovereign powers by imposing Indian Preference on employers working on or near the jurisdictional boundaries of the Three Affiliated Tribes. Although Tribal ordinances are sufficient, it has been found that TEROs can also be utilized in monitoring and enforcing existing federal Indian Preference laws and regulations. North Dakota Safety Council provides the opportunity to significantly reduce workers' compensation premiums, while increasing awareness of safety and risk management strategies.
